Carl and his companions escape the sharktopus Lusca by using the Gate of the Feral Gods to teleport to the pazuzu town of Pandinus. After triggering a feeding frenzy among Lusca's babies with a bloodlust potion and using a massive buzzsaw to cleave through the boss's brain, they flee the ocean floor at critical health loss and activate the gate, summoning a feral god into the bubble world.

As the timer counts down and the sharktopus Lusca swallows the submarine, Carl plants a makeshift bomb (a hob-lobber with a bloodlust potion) in the bridge's minifridge. When it detonates, the potion spreads through the water and triggers the juvenile octo-sharks to enter a cannibalistic feeding frenzy, killing most of Lusca's minions. Carl, Katia, and Tran escape the flooding bridge through a broken window into Lusca's mouth, where they witness hundreds of babies fleeing into slits in the roof. Using a rocket booster and the "Leatherface" strategy—a massive spinning buzzsaw weapon—they execute a perilous maneuver that results in them pinwheeling through open water and cutting through Lusca's brain, killing the city boss. However, they land on the ocean floor where health depletes at two percent per second due to pressure. Vadim, who sealed himself in the sixth-floor room, manages to escape via the last escape pod but reports that pain amplifiers have entered the pod with him—a cryptic warning. Carl and Katia retrieve Tran and prepare to use the fully assembled Gate of the Feral Gods. After ensuring all allies are in safe rooms, they dial the gate to a location outside the pazuzu town of Pandinus, activate it, and are sucked through along with ocean water, which damages the town's walls. Upon arrival in Pandinus, an achievement notification reveals they have summoned a feral god into the bubble world, something other gods dislike. As they reach a nearby inn to gather with Gwen's team and other refugees in its personal space, the world begins to rumble ominously outside.
