The flashback reveals a devastating moment from centuries ago: Mor was found tortured with iron nails driven through her abdomen in the Autumn Court borderlands. When Eris discovered her, he refused to help, declaring her family's "garbage" and calling her "Illyrian leftovers," then walked away and left her to die. Azriel eventually found and saved her; Madja healed her wounds without leaving scars. In the present, Rhysand and Feyre question why Keir and Eris are meeting secretly. Eris claims to be extending Solstice greetings. Feyre sternly reiterates that Beron is forbidden from crossing into human lands. Eris counters by suggesting they speak to Tamlin, implying the Spring Court is involved in territorial expansion and borders the human lands.
