Chapter 21

Carl and Donut continue traveling east on the Chopper, navigating through empty dungeon corridors for hours before discovering spray-painted signs directing them toward other crawlers and a stairwell to Floor Two. They learn there is a borough boss guarding the stairwell in a spiral structure, and witness a massive, fast-moving pink creature patrolling the area.

Carl and Donut receive an achievement called "Bitchmeat" for being attacked by Frank Q and Maggie My in the safe zone. They travel east on the Chopper, progressing through the dungeon for several hours at approximately 20 miles per hour. Carl's Chopper Pilot skill increases to level 5, allowing him to increase speed. The terrain remains sparse and desolate, appearing to be procedurally generated filler. Carl reflects on his absent father and his lack of prior motorcycle experience. They stop at a restroom where they encounter and defeat level 3 Scat Thugs, discovering that fog of war tightens the faster they travel, making navigation dangerous. Continuing deeper east, they find spray-painted signs in English directing them toward other crawlers and stairs, written only hours earlier. They investigate and find corpses of slain Chilly Goats bearing the kills of 15 different crawlers, indicating recent activity in the area. Following the directions, they reach a T-junction and discover a stairwell to Floor Two on their map. A graffiti warning on the ground alerts them that other crawlers are gathered a mile and a half away and warns against entering the spiral structure as it contains a borough boss. While investigating, they witness a massive, pink, Pac-Man-like creature moving at high speed through the spiral's interior passages, despite Mordecai's earlier claim that bosses wouldn't guard stairwells until the fourth floor.
