IV. The Butchering

Carl's group encounters a pack of thirty-six blood-covered velociraptors led by Kiwi in a forest clearing. Using a Charm Animal potion, Donut successfully tames Kiwi as a minion, bringing the entire pack under their control. Meanwhile, Prepotente grieves his mother Miriam's death, uses his remaining safe space to open loot boxes, obtains a magical herbicide sprayer, and departs on his leveled-up familiar Bianca with a vengeful declaration to kill those responsible for his mother's death.

Carl observes twenty velociraptors emerge from the treeline, bloodied from fighting vampirism. He recognizes them as Kiwi's pack, which normally protects Tina. Donut approaches Kiwi with the Charm Mongoliensis potion, successfully charming her as a minion—turning her dot white and causing all thirty-six pack members' dots to also turn white. The raptors, formerly hostile, become controlled forces. When Mongo is summoned, chaos erupts as the dinosaurs swarm him and attempt to mate with him until Kiwi violently intervenes, establishing dominance. Prepotente, grieving his dead mother, activates his final charge of a safe space wand to open his loot boxes privately. He retrieves a magical spray applicator designed to apply herbicide as a fine mist, requiring fine healing potions as ingredients. Prepotente summons Bianca, his demonic familiar now level 40 with full black wings and a saddle, revealing she has grown significantly. He declares his intent to kill everyone responsible for his mother's death and departs on Bianca with a herbicide formula capable of killing twenty Creeper monsters. Carl realizes Prepotente may believe the Plenty orchestrated Miriam's death and suspects the goat may harbor resentment toward them as well.
