Feyre awakens in the Night Court after being rescued from Tamlin's manor, where she had been locked away. They winnow together to a townhouse in the city.

After bathing and dressing in Night Court clothes, Feyre and Rhysand winnow to Velaris, arriving at an ornate townhouse that feels lived-in and warm—a stark contrast to the sterile formality she has known.
