Chapter 58

Rhys and Feyre arrive at the Illyrian camp where Cassian deliberately provokes Rhys into a brutal fight to help him work off the intense emotions of their newly formed mating bond. After the fight, Feyre and Rhys return to Velaris, where his inner circle formally pledges their service to her—a gesture she graciously reframes as friendship. The group then departs for the mortal lands to reveal the Cauldron to the queens.

Rhys winnows Feyre to the Illyrian camp, where Cassian greets them with deliberate provocation. Recognizing that Rhys needs to burn off the volatile energy of their new mating bond, Cassian taunts him until they fight brutally in the mud for an hour.
