At a bar, Prepotente asks Carl and Donut for advice about using an Enriched Pet Biscuit called "The Paramour" on a goat named Ragazzaccia, revealed to be his former girlfriend. Donut firmly refuses to allow this, explaining the biscuit would transform the goat into a humanoid crawler forced into dangerous dungeon crawling while under a permanent charm to love Prepotente—essentially enslaving her. After Donut's intervention, Prepotente agrees not to use it and accepts Donut's offer to be his moral advisor going forward.

The group is at a bar attempting a normal social outing when Prepotente privately approaches Carl with a dilemma. He produces an Enriched Pet Biscuit called "The Paramour," one of three special biscuits he received from a celestial box. The biscuit's description is extensive: it grants sapience and physical transformation into an upright, humanoid form (roughly 1-2.5 meters tall) to any non-sapient pet, resets them to level 1, assigns them crawler status, and most significantly, imparts a permanent, incurable charm causing them to fall hopelessly in love with whoever fed them the biscuit. Prepotente reveals his intention: to use it on Ragazzaccia, a goat that was his girlfriend before entering the dungeon, because the alternative biscuits would leave her in regular goat form, which he finds inappropriate. Donut immediately opposes this plan, calling it equivalent to creating a mind-controlled sex slave. She argues that even without the charm effect, transforming Ragazzaccia into a level-1 crawler would be dangerous and cruel, forcing her to participate in dungeon crawling against her will.
