Feyre trains intensively with Cassian and Azriel to cope with stress, then returns to the townhouse where Mor shares updates on the High Lords' responses to their alliance request. Later, a healer named Madja examines Elain and reveals she cannot penetrate Elain's mind due to her Cauldron-Made nature, suggesting Lucien attempt to sense her condition through their mating bond.

Feyre wakes to find Rhys gone and travels to the House of Wind for training. She has a clumsy landing with her new wings but proceeds with intense physical training under Cassian, who demonstrates keen emotional awareness.
