Overview

Carl and his team engage in an intense card-battle against Amayon (a trapped demon lord) and Ysalte (the Vinegar Bitch goddess), racing to destroy Amayon's six totem cards within ten minutes while keeping Ysalte's deck from depleting. As chaos erupts with multiple summons and the building collapses around them, a quest update reveals Amayon cannot cast his spell without enough souls—forcing Carl to abandon the fight and run toward Samantha with a mysterious plan.

Summary

The battle begins with both teams summoning totems in rapid succession. Amayon summons inferior demons and a powerful succubus (Naamah) who attacks Carl directly, but is stopped by Donut's stolen card, Banjo the Hell Scrub. The fight progresses chaotically across crumbling floors with summoned creatures falling through multiple levels. Ysalte uses a Raid Stash card to steal inactive totems from the team's inventories, including the dangerous Leveled-Up Frank from Donut's deck, forcing them to summon additional defenders. After only two and a half minutes, Tran (fighting on a lower floor) destroys the last totem with his wheelchair. The world freezes, and a quest update reveals that Amayon's demonic spell requires souls to function—souls that no longer exist in sufficient quantity in the dying world. Carl realizes he must leave the fight and run toward Samantha, instructing Donut to use the Midnight Express card on Amayon when he pulls him from the deck.
